How does LCI raise money?

Most of the funds recieved by LCI each year is by the fundraising efforts in conjuction with the annual regatta. Much of our fundraising comes from corporate donors; however individual donations, regatta entry fees, the dinners and the auctions make up a large portion of the overall proceeds. LCI is headed and operated entirely by volunteers, as there is no paid staff or board. This helps keep overhead and costs low, leaving more money available for distribution and other programs sponsored by Lighthouse Charities.

All donors of $250 or more receive recognition with their name or logo on our website at www.okclighthouse.org.

Donors of $250-$499 in cash or in-kind donations receive their choice of 2 tickets to our dinner and auction OR an event T-shirt.

Donors of $500-$999 in cash or in-kind donations receive 2 tickets to the dinner and auction; an event T-shirt; name on the event T-shirt and name or logo on the event board at the Oklahoma City Boat Club.

Donors of $1,000 or more in cash or in-kind donations receive 4 tickets for Friday or Saturday night dinner and festivities (any combination of 4 can be made); an event T-shirt and name or logo on both the event T-shirt and event board at the Oklahoma City Boat Club.

Some of the fundraising is started in the fall and continues up to the time of the annual regatta. Donations may be received throughout the year, including donations in honor of a friend or family member or a gift in memory of a friend of family member who has passed away. To make a cash donation, please make your check payable to “Lighthouse Charities, Inc.” and send it to P. O. Box 20245, Oklahoma City, OK 74156-0245.
